A family of 3 foxes has been camping out in our little verdant oasis here in the wild burbs of Jersey. They are so beautiful with their long black ears and matching high boots. Of course, sporting the generally orange color overall and the little white shirt makes them tres chic!
The best part is their behaviors. They appear to have a Tom Sawyer demeanor, wistful and curious. It also seems like they are generally pretty itchy, stopping to scratch, or hop up on a log to look around like they are sizing up the joint. Last Christmas day, we had what I assume to be the birthing couple courting romantically by continuously coming into the center of our yard and repeatedly peeing, licking, rubbing, and chewing on a soccer ball. Nature’s romantic interlude had us feeling incredibly blessed.
